I recently took a position with Practice Pay Solutions as their National Director of Education so that I could reach a wide audience of coaches and help them grow their businesses. We have developed a whole range of classes and special events to help you do just that.
First, let’s talk about the classes focused on Practice Pay products. There are four primary products – credit card processing, shopping carts, a website builder and a learning management system that allows you to teach classes online and have a membership site. Practice Pay provides free demos for each product and free classes to help you know how to use that product strategically to grow your business. For example, there is a class on December 18th on the Strategic Uses of Shopping Carts for Business Development. There are also after-purchase classes that help you learn the technical details of using the product.
In addition, we have a whole range of business development classes. Last week we had Michael Port discussing how to “book yourself solid”. Upcoming calls with other experts in the next few months will be about business plans, branding your business, attracting clients and recession-proofing your business. Watch for all these special events to be announced.
Finally, we have a new project called Coaches Care which recognizes the valuable contribution of coaches to changing the world. The purpose of the project is to establish an online community to support coaching work for charities and non-profits. Monthly calls will feature agencies that coaches are using to make a difference and will allow discussion of service work through coaching. The first call is today at 12pm ET – register here.
