Is there an eBook in your future?

It’s not true that everything that has been said has already been written.

Since that unfortunate gobbledy-gook got recognition, the whole world has shifted. Technology has changed, ideas have changed, and the mindsets of entire nations are off the charts.

The fact is, this is the perfect time to write an eBook.

The publishing industry needs people who can tap into the world as it is today; innovative thinkers able to figure out how to solve old problems in a new way. EBooks are a new and powerful tool for original thinkers with fresh ideas who are willing to broadcast information to the masses that struggle to figure out how to do many different things.

Suppose you already have a brilliant idea, and the knowledge to go along with it that will enable you to write an exceptional eBook. You may be sitting at your computer staring at a blank screen wondering, “Why should I go through all the trouble of writing my eBook when it’s so impossible to get anything published these days?”

Well, for starters, publishing an eBook is entirely different from publishing a book in print.

Let’s look at a couple specifics of how the print and cyber publishing industry differ, and the many reasons why you should take the plunge and get your fingers tapping across those keyboards!

* Submitting a print book to conventional publishing houses or to agents is similar to wearing a sack cloth and ashes 24/7.

No matter how good your book actually is, or how many critique services and mentor writers have told you “you’ve got what it takes,” your submitted manuscript keeps coming back to you as if it is a super-duper “Torch LED Light Yo-Yo” instead of a valuable gold mine of information.

* Perhaps, in desperation, you’ve checked out self-publishing and discovered just how expensive a venture it can be.

Most “vanity presses” require minimal print runs and cost thousands of dollars. And printing costs are usually separate from costs for binding, distributing, shipping and promoting. Even if you wanted to go this route, you may not have that kind of money to risk.

So it’s likely that’s one task that’s not going to get a check mark by it on your “done” list anytime soon.

* But let’s say you already have an Internet business with a quality Web site and a quality product.

An eBook is one of the most powerful ways you can promote your business. At the same time, you can educate people with the knowledge you already possess as a business owner of a specific product or service.

EBooks will promote your business

Not only that, your eBook will also help you make a name for yourself and your company. You’ll also establish yourself as an expert in your field. Once you start, you may even find you have enough to say to warrant a series of eBooks. How neat is that?

Sometimes businesses are complicated enough, they often require the different aspects to be divided in order for the reader to get the full story.

* One of the most widespread reasons people read eBooks is to find information on how to turn their Internet business into a profit-making machine.

Because of this, they are looking to the writers of eBooks to provide them with new ideas and strategies because, after all, writers of eBooks are usually people who understand the new cyber technology world in which we live.

* For instance, EBook writers are experts in Internet marketing campaigns; they’re well-versed in the strategies to use to promote and distribute eBooks.

And when the cyberspace community is successful, more and more eBooks will be written.

* Some eBook authors also create Affiliate programs to market their eBook.

Affiliates can be people or businesses worldwide that will work to sell your eBooks. There is a formula for success here.

Figure out what your subject matter will be; narrow it down. Your goal is to be as specific as you can. Research that market for what’s out there already, and try to find a void that your eBook might fill.

You don’t have to have a slew of degrees to write about your subject. But it does help to be interested in the subject. People need advice that is easy to read and easily understood.

The possibilities are endless.
