WHAT WE DO
The “Board of Connectors” for the New Coach Connection Yahoo Group is your moderator team. We work behind the scenes to manage the list and keep it running smoothly. Some Connectors suggest topics for discussion on the list on the four theme days, M.A.D. Monday, Ask Anything Tuesday, Reach Out Wednesday, and Techie Thursday. We make every effort to ensure that questions posted to the list don’t go completely unanswered. Other tasks include establishing list policies, screening and approving new applicants to the list, and composing copy for web pages and promos for official NCC events.
We are our wn webmaster for this site. Some of us manage the HTML, PHP and CGI code for the pages. We moderate submissions for the NCC Marketplace and troubleshoot the installation fo the WordPress blog. We also manage group settings for the New coach Connection Yahoo Group.
From time to time we send out messages to individual members who have violated a list policy, usually by accident or from not understanding the policies clearly. When appropriate, messages are sent to the whole list. The purpose for doing this is not to single out members or embarrass them, but to ensure safe and courteous behavior on our list. No such actions are ever taken lightly, and there is often a lively exchange between the Connectors about when and how to send out messages of this type. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
The Connectors also read all posts on the list to keep abreast of what topics are important to our members. We periodically conduct surveys of NCC members to make sure that we are on track with what they want. If you have any suggestions or comments, use the convenient email link below to contact us.
