About the NCC

New Coach Connection

This community is comprised of new and experienced coaches who are seeking ways to collaborate, connect and create awesome experiences in the coaching profession.

This community began in June of 2000 as a result of a 5-day workshop on “Coaching as your next career”. Many of the participants were very interested in continuing the connection. Quite a few of these new coaches would send inspiration in the way of emails and/or resource links. In July of 2001, we moved over to a Yahoo Groups email discussion list where we grew from 10 coaches to over 200 coaches in in the first four years. When we reached 200 members, we were more then just a discussion list and have affectionately grown to become a very supportive community.

Our membership now stands at 880 (on April 4, 2008). Our goal is to reach 1,000 members by the end of the year. . If you are a new or experienced coach or coach support progfessional who would like to be a part of a growing and supportive community, please Join Now!

How do I know I belong?

This community is a group of many different coaches. We are a safe place to belong regardless of your race, religious preference, economic status or which coaching school you have attended – or not. Our coaches are life coaches, executive coaches, business coaches, financial coaches, and even clown coaches! If you are a coach, you belong here.

What are the Rules?

We have one Rule: Keep this a safe environment.

No question is dumb, no answers are wrong!

To help with structure, we do have some common courtesies that all members agree to observe. To help our community run smoothly and safely we ask you to observe the following.

List or Blog?

What started as an email discussion list, then a group, is now also a blog. Our goal is to reach out to as many potential and working coaches as possible. So, where do you belong? Wherever we can serve you the most. Join our list for in-depth discussion, or if you aren’t the email type participate on the blog, better yet, do both. Either way New Coach Connection is here to serve you by helping you connect with other people in your industry.
